My CAUSE
This website is dedicated to telling the true story of Martha — a woman of faith, a mother, grandmother, GREAT GRANDMOTHER, artist, teacher, and survivor. For years, she endured abuse and betrayal at the hands of family, trusted community members, and respected professionals. Her story includes horrifying attempts on her life, sexual violence, forced silence, and institutional failure. mypainfulstory.com exists to document what happened, expose the truth, and speak boldly for justice. It is a place of both pain and power — a space to honor the truth, protect others, and confront the silence that allows abuse to thrive.
Raped & Mutilated: May 17 2025
Petrus used his chemicals and put me to sleep. I did not fall into a deep sleep. I knew he was assaulting me but could not move or speak. I felt the searing pain when he used his dirty scissors and cut off my clitoris. He came to do me harm. I was traumatized and in shock when he left my apartment. Petrus fled my apartment, leaving the scissors and the neon green bag behind — the same items I have now buried off the property for safety. This was the time I called the police, and they have since produced a corrupted report of my statement
A Corrupted Police Report
The Virgin Islands Police Department Labeled my case "Suspicious Activity.
The decision to label my case as "suspicious activity" has significant repercussions. This classification not only undermines my credibility but also serves to divert attention from the need for a thorough and proper investigation. By framing my reports in this manner, the record risks discrediting genuine claims and raises serious concerns about the intent and integrity of those responsible for documenting my experiences. It is essential that the records accurately reflect the facts and do not become a means to dismiss or invalidate legitimate reports of wrongdoing.
Dr. Sang's Jan/Feb 2019 INVOICE

Dr. Sang claims she spent all this time with me. As far as I can remember, she spent, in total, 15 minutes with me. She did not listen to my telling her that I was poisoned.
The Battle to Obtain My Hospital Report
Several days after my discharge, I went to the hospital to get a copy of my hospital report. I was told none was available. I visited several times afterward and received the same answer. Around the end of February, I returned to request my report again. Once more, I was told it was not available. Then, I told the clerk, “I would like to know my bill so I can pay it. Can I get a detailed invoice, please?”
She looked across the room to her right: “Go to that lady over there. She can print you a bill?” I walked over to the lady and asked for a detailed invoice of my stay at the hospital in January/February of this year. She printed a document and handed it to me. I didn’t look at it until I got into the house. I sat in a chair, took the document from the envelope, and looked at it. For some unknown reason, my eyes settled on “INJ,” the third line of the invoice.
My heart pounded so hard, I ran to get a glass of water. I drank it slowly and went back to my seat. However, it took about three minutes for my heart to start beating at a regular pace. I looked at that line again:
THER / PROPH / DIAG INJ SC/IM
I began speaking aloud to myself, “I can’t believe that those people gave me some kind of injection. It must be the wrong one. For God’s sake, what is wrong with those doctors! They give me pills for lunatics, and they give me injections, too! They’re treating me for the wrong thing. For God’s sake!”
“For God’s Sake, they treated me for the wrong thing!”
“No one listened... TO ME – the patient!”
August 19-2019, I Was Forced to Take These Meds
“They listened to the Seventh-day Adventist clerk during my intake and based my care on her words that I was crazy. I kept telling them that I was poisoned. I didn't shout. I didn't curse. I kept telling them softly. They heard me. But they dismissed me!”
“And gave me some kind of injection... FOR GOD’S SAKE!”
I body started shaking uncontrollably, and it took about 5 minutes for it to stop.
Dr. Sang billed me for 15 sixty-minute visits on January 30, 2019, starting with a $579 first visit. I remember seeing her three times. As I said before, she came at me with venom: “Let me tell you something, don’t bite the hand that feeds you and people in glass houses should not throw stones... and your relatives are out there to see you.” She stayed for less than five minutes. She said the medication she was giving me and left.
I didn’t see her with a notepad, didn't ask questions about my life, showed no bedside manner, and didn't check on my well-being. If I'm mistaken, security footage will verify.
The blue highlights indicate charges Jan 31, suggesting she provided 24 sixty-minute visits that day. If true, she spent the day sleeping and eating with me. We know that never happened. Again, footage will confirm. The unhighlighted section shows she made 8 sixty-minute visits. I saw her once that day. Her visit lasted less than five minutes. If wrong, again, the hospital surveillance footage will show..
Around March 4th, I received a letter from the hospital asking for payment of $18,422.44.

Important Incidents
August 19-2019
My hospital wristband clearly stated that I am allergic to penicillin, yet the nurse prepared to administer an IV medication that could have killed me. I had to stop her and point to my own allergy warning. That moment proved what I have been saying all along — I was not confused or unstable. I was alert, aware, and fighting for my life in a place where I should have been safe.
🧪 Penicillin Group and Related Drugs (My Research Results)
Penicillin is part of a larger class called beta-lactam antibiotics.
If someone is allergic to penicillin, they may also react to drugs that share a similar chemical structure — meaning the body can’t always tell the difference.
These include:
-
Amoxicillin and Ampicillin (direct penicillin relatives)
-
Oxacillin, Cloxacillin, Dicloxacillin, etc.
-
Cephalosporins (like cefazolin, cephalexin, ceftriaxone) — related group with about 5–10% cross-reaction risk
-
Carbapenems (like imipenem, meropenem) — also in the same extended family
So yes — even if the nurse mentioned a different name (like a cephalosporin), it can still be penicillin-based or cross-reactive, which means my wristband warning was crucial.
What Claude said to me after I let him know I saw him, McNeal, Schmidt, and other men Sexually assaulting me.
Claude came closer and looked into my teary eyes: “You call the police, and I will call your Brother J. He will tell the cops how crazy you are, and they will take you to the CRAZY WARD and put you away forever! There is no cop in this world who would listen to you. We are all Christian men, Rosie. All the Adventists in St. Croix know you are cray. Who are you going to tell? The pastor? He already knows you are crazy, and after your Brother J talk to them, they are going to just put you into the CRAZY WARD!”
He came even closer, with a sweet smile: “When it comes to your family, they all know you are crazy. Ev will never believe you. Aunt P will never believe you. and don’t talk about your Aunt Vie, she will never believe a bad word you say about me. Lee and her husband were the first ones to warn me about how crazy you are. They begged me to be careful about you because you crazy. Who are you going to tell?”

Injected with Termite Killer by Claude, Kay, and her Mother
n the weeks following the hurricanes of 2017, life in St. Croix was marked by darkness, scarcity, and fear. Amid that uncertainty came another kind of devastation — one carried out by human hands. By late October or early November, I was rendered semi-conscious and injected with insecticide by individuals I trusted, including those who had already caused harm before. They used syringes meant for printer ink, piercing my veins and the base of my thumb with a poisonous mixture that left me weak and barely able to move.
I remember being aware of what was happening, yet unable to stop it. I could hear voices, see shadows, and feel the cold burn of the toxin entering my body. It was an act meant to destroy, but somehow, by God’s mercy, it did not take my life.
In the aftermath, I realized that surviving such cruelty carries a heavy burden — not only the physical pain, but the knowledge that people can choose such evil and that those in authority may never fully seek the truth. Still, I believe that what is hidden will be revealed, and that every injustice will one day meet the light it fears most.
