After being poisoned at home, Martha was taken to Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital seeking urgent help. But no toxicologist was called to identify what was in her system. Instead, she was trapped inside the hospital and given psychiatric drugs meant for insanity — even though she was there for poisoning, not mental illness. This first hospitalization became a nightmare of misdiagnosis, manipulation, and fear, marking the beginning of her struggle for truth and justice.
